Haven’t had the time to figure out who the number 14 was when we played Boreham Wood a few days ago but finally found him. I know it’s only one game but I was impressed by his cameo. His positioning and awareness especially is what stood out to me
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

Think he was the only schoolboy to make the squad for this game and, given that he's only 16, he was presumably also the youngest player to be selected.

Nigerian Teenage Sensation To Sign New Three-Year Deal At Arsenal

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigerian teenage sensation Miguel Azeez is set to commit his long-term future to Arsenal by signing a new long-term contract.

The highly-rated central midfielder will have the honour of being the first player among the new intake of Arsenal academy scholars to sign a professional contract with the North London club when he turns 17 in exactly five weeks time.

One of the most gifted players at the Arsenal Academy, Azeez has agreed a three-year contract which will be activated on September 20.

The Gunners have an option to extend Azeez's contract by a further two years before the end of the 2021-2022 season.

The 16-year-old made his competitive debut for Arsenal U18s in the U18 Premier League at the age of fifteen while still a schoolboy and made his unofficial debut for the U23 team in a pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood last month.

Azeez is one player to keep an eye on this season and could make his first team debut if he continues to impress for the youth teams.

He's a big big talent. Just hope the club decides what position they see him as and don't moving him around ala. Niles.

Reminds me of Marcus McGuane from a few seasons ago. Same position, similar profile. McGaune was highly rated and likely a first team prospect at some point but he ran off to Barca B and no surprise found life hard to handle. He’s now chasing dreams at Oxford United. Hope this fella is more prudent.

Well I think we have another Arsenal fan that went officially crazy. I can't blame you though.

Anyway Azeez should play anyway, cool name or not. He can't be worse than Xhaka.
