I did have a crack at it, but I couldn't follow some of the instructions on paint.net. I'll have another try, though, as I think I've figured out how to do some of them. I really can't justify Photoshop at this point, and I don't want to get a trial version, as I probably will end up buying it.

EDIT: Okay, here's how it went.

That's a lovely Theo Walcott one. Very simple. :clap:

I'm the same as here too. I'll have a proper look through today, as I joined shortly before posting that.

In light of Arsenal's drawing Villarreal in the Champions League, I made this;

I'm not completely happy with it so I don't doubt there will be another version.

Nice one.
I love the back ground with Highbury and the badge (maybe should have been the old one though) Not sure about the picture of Pires though.
Oh and i like the way your sigs have rounded corners... not sure why, i just do. :lol:

Is this better?

At the time, it was the best cut I had, so I went with it. I did have a go at it with two new images though;

The sigs are pretty good, just try to blend the render better :)

I'm not completely happy with this, specifically the background, so I thought I'd throw it on here, see if I could some feedback.

There's nothing wrong with the background. It's a little simple but it's a good background. You should try to blend in the renders ;) You can do this by using light textures, using the lasso tool to delete the edges of the body (roughly) or you could use photofilters.

In general the signature is okay. Try to follow some tutorials if you have the time :)

Oh by the way, try to make a border around the sig, it's the finishing touch that makes your sig complete :)

Very good signatures there mate, just keep learning and you will get better. I really like your Robert Pires signature as it has rounded corners very different than people usually have.

Liking the grungy style cannon in the background, but it needs depth, as Fintro advised use some light textures. The 1 & teh text does not fit, try working on these too, there are some great tutorials about on deviant art & sportgfx.
Add a border.

Really liking your old player sigs, nice touch with the rounded edges, blending is all good. KIU. ;)

Okay, thanks for the input, I'll have another go next time I get a chance.

With regards to depth, I normally have a photo of the stadium right at the back. I don't know the terminology, but I'm sure you know what I mean from my previous efforts. I didn't think that would work with this one. I also tried adding a larger photo of the player to the background, like you've done with your Eduardo sig, SGW, but I couldn't make that work either... I have a couple of textures saved, but I couldn't really add depth with them. I'll work on it next time I get the chance.

I have an account on sportgfx, so I will have a look around there. Finals meant I didn't spend so much time around here, and I got completely out of the habit of checking out sportgfx.
