Thankyou, bit rusty on sigs, been doing flyers & banners for a while, think this may need scaling down a little, size wise. :)

Just spent the last two hours working on my first sigs... having fun, although it's definitely now time for bed!

I mentioned that I was working on something special. Well, the first idea went down the pan because I couldn't find the right sized picture of a roast chicken!.. no bullshit!

Question. Do I HAVE to have an image hosting site for these sigs (not much of a technical wiz in any respect and don't know anything 'bout tinternet other than where to type the address)

i dont think you have to but i think your better off with hosting it somewhere. the easiest one is tinypic.com. just click on browse, slecet your picture/signature and click on upload. no need to do anything else. (except for typing some captchas for making sure you are not a bot).

anyway just go to tinypic.com now and try uploading a picture from your computer. very easy

Or you could host the picture here by adding an attachment

When you press "Post Reply" on a thread, underneath the "Submit" button it has two tabs - "options" and "upload attachment". Select "upload attachment", "choose file", find it, click "add the file" and you're done.

Ok guys, don't be too harsh, the RVP one was the only serious attempt.

And SGW, sorry to take over your thread, don't think my sigs are quite worthy of their own thread just yet

They are very good for your 1st sigs, far better than my 1st attempts, KIU.
Personally i use image hosts, not sure what the bandwidth situation is on here now, but using hosts dont affect the sites bandwidth. There are plenty of free hosts out there, Tinypic, Imageshack, photobucket ect.

I dont mind but you should really have your own thread for your work, keeps it all in one place plus you can then see how your work progresses the more you learn. ;)
What are you using to create your sigs?
