Recently far too many members have made themselves guilty of forwarding their views in an immature, unsubstantiated, sensationalist and (often) passive-aggressive manner.
More often than not it's agenda-driven utterances with no regard for substantiation or detachment that kick-start ad hominem potshots and mud-slinging, to the detriment of the discussion.
In order to not turn into an echo chamber, the forum has a lenient policy which leaves room for strong opinions. Unfortunately that trust and forbearance gets exploited far too often and a line has to be drawn somewhere.
To summarise; adhere to the forum's etiquette and post with regard for the quality of the debate—or face the consequences.
For the sake of transparency, consistency and because there are a handful of members who resort to playing the victim card when penalised, claiming they have been singled out, this formal public warning is for each and every member to consider.
Thanks,
