I personally wouldn't have started Pires anyway. Thought he was picked for sentimentality reasons. Reyes should have started having played a more significant part in the CL run.

Just noticed it's the same day as the german cup final.
FA-Cup starting at 18:00 (GMT+1) and the german final (Dortmund-Bayern) starts at 20:00 (GMT+1).

Looks like a good day before the short break till the WC start

- Their goalkeerper had the game of his life
- We should have had 10+ penalties .. shit ref
- If long term injured player xyz would have been available we would have won easily

Thanking about it, RG is right. Hleb should have been off. He'd have worked more but Pires was as good as creative player in the world at that point.

Pires was but not at that point. His Arsebal career was coming to an end. He wasn't anywhere near the level he used to be. One of my favourite players of all time and it's a shame we couldn't win the CL medal for him and Bergkamp.

Just got an email saying we've been unlucky with the ticket ballot

It's ridiculous. I'm a season ticket holder but won't get a ticket but the FA will give tickets to corporate twats who aren't interested in football.

Football just died today

Football has been revived. My brother lied to me. The ticket application was successful.

My first final

Congratulations, I hope you enjoy it.

Though, just a question, aren't you season ticket holders one of the first in line for away tickets?

I hate brothers.

We were successful in the ballot but my brother who was scheduled to be out of the country for the final might delay it to go to the final despite promising I could as he didn't expect to get a ticket.

Can people disown brothers?

As for the away ticket question, no idea.

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

I have had it pointed out to me if the final goes to extra-time i will miss some of the Wigan v Leeds rugby match. I said, As if that will happen. We will win the most one-sided cup final in years.
I want Carl Jenkinson back in a Arsenal shirt next season.

Looks like it will be touch and go. It's in two weeks though so hopefully he'll make the bench at least.

After yesterday's horror show, I'm selling my ticket for this.
