this game will have no baring on the cup final. this impression thing is a load of total crap..
if we thrash them they could learn from it ...if they beat us then that could give them a false sense of security and visa versa ?
its who turns up on the day, luck, who wants it more. who handles the occasion the best, etc
thats why teams like wigan portsmouth.and even wimbledon in my day can win it

This.

All this is, is a game against a team with their 2 cup tied strikers starting. The final is without them. Both games will end up bad for them.

Wasn't there a Wenger interview saying how he was tempted to play 2 up top?

Yes there was but he won't as we might actually win games convincingly again thus expectations are raised and Wenger can't be having that.

Won't win anything convincingly with the set of strikers we have no matter how many of them you put up there.

There is nothing wrong with playing a 4-2-3-1 with Poldi behind Giroud against Hull. Ozil won't start. If he does, let's resume normal play but I'm all for experimenting.

Giroud holds the ball well and Podolski has the best shot for us, so it's a combination that could work.

Of course, with Ozil back, I'd prefer:

------------- Giroud
Podolski - Ozil - Chamberlain

Wenger won't drop Cazorla when he had such a good game vs. West Ham

He won't and that's the problem. Ozil and Cazorla don't seem to click and Ozil needs direct players and runners to be effective. He had Ronaldo and di Maria on the left and right at Madrid...

I think that hull will play a weakened team. They'll want us to win so that we secure 4th so there is no pressure on them as they'd get Europa League regardless of the result and also they won't want us getting wind of any final tactics they might have.

Hull will go for the win as they fancy the double on us. Also we are poor away from home and even if they rest their best players I dont fancy us one bit

It would be typical Wenger if we win this one and lose the final.
