Not only that, the wins we have away from home has always been real struggle. I cant remember the last time we went away from home and really put in a solid performance. This match will be dominated by everton. It comes down to can we ride our luck and take our chances when we get them

I'd start the same players that played against City:

Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Gibbs
Arteta(c)
Rosicky ----- Flamini
Cazorla --------------- Podolski
Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Monreal, Kallstrom, Ramsey?, Oxlade, Sanogo

Everton will come at us knowing what's at stake so we must not neglect our defensive duties in this. Just like against City, we'll need players in the midfield who'll offer the best protection for the back four.

Play with the same intensity as we did against City and we'll get a favorable result
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

Ironic since that's the same amount of trophies we've won since 2005. :sneaky:

This please.

Won't happen though, Wenger hasn't ticked on to the fact Rosicky can play CM even though its not against a top 4 side, he'll go with Arteta - Flamini more than likely.

Just hope Podolski get's another game, he's a goal threat (one of the few we have.) that we need and he was close to scoring again.

Tottenham up until a few weeks ago had the best away record int he league if i'm not mistaken.

Says it all about away form in general from every team. This season has been interesting and exciting but very, very poor in quality. Liverpool are top, they are a one man team with a rather average squad. I don't need to say much more.

The last time Everton beat us in the league at Goodison Park was on 18/03/2007.

Since that game we have played them 6 times away from home and didn't lose any of those games.

Our record from that loss in 2007 until today: WDWWWD

Not a bad record considering how good they are at home.

Sturridge (20 goals)
Sterling,
Coutinho
Gerrard

Each of these guys would walk into our team right now.

Exactly my point, right now they would. Form is temporary. Suarez is the only player i'd want from Liverpool to improve us.

The PremierLeague has fallen massively again in quality, the best three sides in us, then Chelsea and City who are better than us have struggled to juggle the demands of Champions League, FA and League cups while Liverpool have only played about 35 games this season so far. We have played at least 50!

Now what i say about The League falling in quality is key because i know from the years watching football many other leagues have had surprise package teams do really well and take advantage of the bad form of other better teams one season, get champions league then it all falls to shit the next season with all these extra games to cope with, also these are tough games, they are going to need a bigger and better squad, the squad needs to get on and they need to be able to adapt to European teams, not to mention the travelling.

People are getting carried away and expect Liverpool just to become a cast iron force again, being super, super negative as usual. Some people here cannot see things over a long term and panic after every bad result.
