Ox needs to get back on the horse quickly.
Cazorla needs to find Jesus or something.
Sagna and Gibbs need to work out how to not f***ing bomb forward at the same time like c****.

Spot on.

Zedie did you watch Sagna's and Gibbs positioning for the first 20 minutes of the game. They were in lala land when the Chavs were busy scoring behind their backs.

The infuriating thing is that they did exactly the same against Liverpool in the 5-1. After we conceded early they continued to bomb forward and we were hopelessly exposed at the back.

Anyone think Gibbs is not good enough? He's had a pretty average season, made alot of defensive errors and isn't very good in the final third. Will get better but will it be good enough?

I think he's been quite good, obviously he was shit today (for the short time that he was on), but so was everyone. He's been much better than Nacho at any stretch.

I think Gibbs has been very good actually, his good form was a large part of our early season success.

Gibbs is good but it wouldn't stop me buying Shaw or someone who will be better.

Fair enough. I'm probably just got this performance fresh in my mind but he hasn't had many 8+ games this season.

I think he's good enough. He can defend well and is hard to beat but still has the odd mistake in him. He's had a good season though.

I would honestly prefer we bought Shaw and sold GIbbs. Love the lad but he's way too injury prone to be relied upon for an entire season. Besides, Shaw's potential is absolutely massive -- best English LB since Cashley. Too bad he's probably off to Chelski this summer :crybaby:

Fabianski
Sagna-Mertesacker-Vermaelen-Gibbs
Flamini-Rosicky
Chamberlain-Cazorla-Podolski
Sanogo

Bench: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Koscielny, Monreal, Kallstrom, Gnabry, Giroud

f**k. Our options are really limited with Ramsey, Ozil, Walcott, and Wilshere out. :BangHead:

I scared my boy shouting "get back you bloody idiot" (sandwich for dinner tonight).

I dont get why both Sagna and Gibbs were so far up the pitch both. Gibbs in particular for the 2nd.

So glad this game is on Tuesday. Great chance to respond rather than stewing on the Chelsea result all week before City.

Play the kids.

Unfortunately I no longer care about our youth team so couldn't name anyone to make up a possible starting XI
