All this silence makes me think we'll see drastic changes, Wenger has to shake things up.

Really wouldn't be surprised to see Fabianski, Flamini, Kallstrom, Sango, and Gnabry all start.

If we did, after the last pathetic performance I wouldn't mind seeing these players starting, this and the rest of our games are important to put some pride back not only in the team but our club, I am really pissed off with the negativity that seems to surround our team. Could these guys do any worse...I think not, give them a go.

Seriously? Source?

If this is true, then Wenger is even more of a coward than his team selections show.

If he has postponed the conference, he should be dragged back into it and made explain his latest omnipotent disaster.

He owes it to the fans who stood in the Bridge and supported his team during a shambolic performance.

He should have the courage to face the press and use them to apologise to the Arsenal fans and explain his incompetent team selection and failure to address it during the match.

TBH, this situation is becoming more and more like the last days of the Irish Celtic Tiger economic crash, when we were being lied to that "the economic fundamentals are sound", "there is nothing to worry about" "negative equity cannot happen in Ireland" and "the banks are well capitalised".

Then the leaders ran away, the press conferences stopped, and the IMF came in.

Well at Arsenal our leaders have run away from explaining to us, and it would appear the press conference has stopped.......will Usmanov be our version of the IMF?

Szczesny hasn't been too bad but his form is downwards and we're playing relatively easy match. Fabianski is good enough for this and I would start him.

Chambo deserves to get dropped, no biggie if he gets a suspension.

Fabianski
Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Monreal
Flamini Rosicky
Gnabry Cazorla Podolski
Sanogo

Source or didn't happen.

Of course it hasn't happened as the game's yet to take place...

......... really?

Nice swerve but obviously I was asking for proof that Wenger has reinstated Fabianski which is what you claimed.

This aside I actually would like to see it happen, Fabianski has done well enough to warrant this chance anyway.

Its the usual stuff they do whenever they get embarrassed. We are gonna show more determination and put on their serious face. wenger has avoided the media for this match to make it look like he is super serious. When in reality he is embarrassed and cant say anything. If people think there will be a reaction against Swansea, they are deluded. It will be a very tough game where Swansea will dominate the midfield and open us at will. It will come down to if they can take their chances. No matter how serious they are I cant see our midfield with their lack of legs dominate Swansea midfield. I honestly would be surprised if we win this match. this team has been found out

Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will both be available for Arsenal's Premier League match with Swansea after the FA released a statement saying neither player would be banned.

I wonder if they will play Oxlade-Chamberlain in goal :arse fan:

Ox and Gibbs both available:

http://news.arseblog.com/2014/03/gibbs- ... r-swansea/

The FA have confirmed that both Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are free to be selected by Arsenal for tomorrow’s game against Swansea.

Referee Andre Marriner mistakenly sent off the left-back after Oxlade-Chamberlain’s handball and after appealing both the wrongful dismissal and the red card itself, Arsene Wenger can call on both players tomorrow.

In a statement, the FA said:

An Independent Regulatory Commission today heard two claims from Arsenal, one of mistaken identity and the other of wrongful dismissal, both in relation to Saturday’s game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The commission ruled that the dismissal of Kieran Gibbs was a case of mistaken identity and transferred this to his team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Subsequent to deciding this matter, the commission then considered Arsenal’s claim for wrongful dismissal in relation to Oxlade-Chamberlain. This claim was upheld, meaning Oxlade-Chamberlain will not serve any suspension with the standard punishment withdrawn with immediate effect.

There’s still no explanation as to how Marriner came the decision he did, but we’re not holding our breath for that one, and instead we’ll be thankful our already depleted squad isn’t stretched any further.

Wasn't a red, the shot was missing so he didn't deny a goal or obvious goal scoring opportunity.

It was a deliberate attempt to cheat, same as Suarez. Just cos it wasn't going in shouldn't make a difference, Ox clearly thought it might be.
