lmao Mourinho trying to make himself look like a tactical genius. They did nothing out of the ordinary, we were just shit.
We made the exact same tactical mistakes against Liverpool.

He scored 6 against title rivals and he has no right to gloat? Wenger gloats about 4th finish like a trophy which is even more laughable.

So Why didn't Wenger do anything about it?

Why does he love playing Full backs so high up the pitch against teams with pacy wide men capable of hurting us?

Why does Wenger adopt a high line against a team which loves to press?

He was banking on early pressure doing the damage, then sit and defend the lead.

This did not happen.

If he had any class he wouldn't gloat but even without the gloating he's making out that he employed some revolutionary tactics that have exploited us but in reality no matter what tactics he would've employed we would've lost because of how poor we were. We lost this game more mentally than tactically.

Actually it is Wonga who lacks class for not bothering to apologize or at the very least explain that disastrous capitulation instead of running away like a coward from doing the press conference.

It's the newspaper that chooses the article title. Reporters ask questions, Mourinho responds. The fact that this is "nothing new" in terms of what we already know about the defensive gaps at AFC should be shocking to any Arsenal fan.

By saying that he studied our formations, and our players' strengths/weaknesses? That comes off as "revolutionary" to you?

Exactly. At-least Mourinho tries to say something worthwhile instead of talking about mental strength all the time. When was the last time we heard Wenger discussing tactics in a press conference?

Because tactics are for losers anyway and Wenger is a born winner!

This.

In fact, more credit goes to Mourinho for walking down the tunnel BEFORE full time when he could have easily and happily stood there waiting to shake Wengers hand at the end.

Wengers behaviour since the defeat has been shown to be once again immature, petulant and ignorant.

It's all about Arsene.

7 million a year - get out and earn some of it FFS by explaining why you did what you did, and how you propose to address it from here on in.

I'm not defending Wenger. It's clear massive mistakes were made that could have been easily prevented.

Its true for too long now the Wenger worshipers have convinced us that a club like Arsenal with our history, our stadium, a club in profit should just be content with 4th place just to spare Wenger criticism.

I'm not pointing fingers lets just say its time we prepare for change and get back to being a competitive club, saving our pennies because of the stadium move is over now.

Said it before the game that it would be a massive mistake to aggressively chase the game but what to do Wenger thinks his is the only team on the pitch which is capable of launching a counter-attack. The funny bit about Wenger is that he talks about staying organized and not conceding early after every loss against big teams but repeats the same mistake over again. Its like doing the same thing over and over again in the same way and expecting a different outcome.

My point was that it wasn't tactics that won Chelsea this game so it's pointless for Mourinho to talk about them as if that's the reason they won.
