I'd say inconsistent is more like it. He's had some great games as CM. Including the 10/11 season, but hey, he had two better midfield partners back then.

Arteta-Flamini didn't work very well on the ball against Liverpool, they overran us in midfield most of the match. It was good for soaking up pressure though and launching a counter-attacking game.

We need to score early though imo. We've been awful in attack recently and the longer it stays 0-0 the more our heads will drop and Everton will gain in confidence.

I'll make an off the cuff comment when I want matey, I don't need to watch my P's & Q's on your say so fluff.

However if you must know I like Wilshere just fine but I don't think he's a good deep CM his talents lay in dribbling the ball and those attacking drives he does toward goal.
