Giroud has good hold-up play though.

His arm should never be up there, if your arm is in an unnatural position and stops the ball then it's a penalty mate.

If we're lucky. In all likelihood the yids will be only 6 points behind us by the end of today.

Had Stoke showed a bit more quality in final third

Had Stoke taken the chances that came their way

This scoreline would have been much more embarrassing for us.

I mean we have played poorly in the past but so little creativity? how many chances did we create?

Till Chamberlain came on who was our best -player by far we were struggling to put a few passes together. Why didn't Chamberlain start today despite him being our most in form attacker off late?

Everybody was talking as to how stoke are going to sit back in fear but Stoke came out and played a much more offensive game than we did today. they clearly lacked the finishing and that little bit of quality needed in the final third otherwise they could have hurt us even more. The point that irks me the most is that against teams like Stoke pace is a vital weapon but Wenger chooses to ignore that conveniently. The lack of quality up front was clear already but out overall passing and movement was well below par today. Wenger will not have the excuse of refereeing decisions, poor pitch, parking the bus, sun moon, mars jupiter to hide behind that woeful performance today. We were 5 points clear at the top and now it looks like looking at our fixture list we will be most likely finishing behind Liverpool which would be nothing short of a travesty. I want to know why is Wenger's contract extension a mere formality when this season looks like it is going to finish like how the last few ones have?

Forget Chelsea and Man City games

Our big game is the NLD.

Well I don't see why not, he can do pretty much everything Grioud can do plus dribble and run with the ball and he's more aggressive.

That also brings others into the game, he just needs that goal to get his confidence but between him Ozil and Ox that will come soon.

Giroud is hopeless and 2 goals against Sunderland doesn't change that. Cazorla was awful and has been for better part of the season. Wiilshere is never suited for a challenging game. Is a whiny bitch.

Those are the problems.

Can't remember the last time i've seen an Arsenal players contribute so little as he has today, literally invisible from start to finish. (Arshavin just came to mind) No runs, no initiative, no desire, just jogging about - even Giroud at his very worst still contributes by closing down and with his work rate. I still think Pod's an ok squad option but it's becoming more and more obvious that he's going to be off in the summer, along with Vermaelen, potentially Sagna and I wouldn't even be surprised if Özil handed in a transfer request too.
