These past two games I was shocked on how much pace Ozil has. He showed so much determination, pace, effort, sometimes I thought it was the Ox who had the ball. Great performance all round. Also put a runner next to Ozil and his game changes, take note Mr Wenger.

was a great game to watch.

flappy looked really good in goal. would be sad to see him leave. if woijech is injured flappy can do the job

defense also looked good apart maybe from monreal sometimes. jenkinson looked really good too.

flamini did a good job. arteta was "ok". özil and poldi were pretty solid and sanogo too. but the best one was surelly chambo. great game by him. at the moment he would be a waste in the middle IMO (where wenger sees him in the future). he's a great winger with speed and the skill to beat the opponent on 1on1.

and yes, could/should have been a second pen for liverfool but serves them right. suarze should stop diving all the time and then maybe he would get the second pen. but also was a pen on santi IMO.

I didn't think we defended well enough, were very lucky both Sturridge and Suarez decided to whack most of their shots straight at the keeper - we let them slip through too many times. Fabianski was great, I rate him actually - not as a top keeper but he'll be a solid 1st choice for someone, Koscielny was mostly a warrior though Suarez absolutely skinned him in the area once and we were lucky not to concede.

I thought Liverpool were really good but mostly after we hit 2 and quite a lot this year we've stepped off the gas as soon as we've had a 2 goal lead, add that to the shell-shock from the previous Liverpool game and it hopefully explains why we seemed to settle for 2-1 so early into the second half.

Webb bottled the big decisions, Suarez definitely had a second penalty, Santi definitely had one too - it wouldn't have been soft at all, Gerrard was a little lucky to stay on the pitch etc. But overall Liverpool had enough chances, they didn't take them and frankly we deserve some good luck.

Ozil is deceptive with his pace, I really want him to sort his shooting out, his movement is really good and he could easily be knocking double figures every season.

You're spot on about runners, absolutely crucial we keep Chamberlain fit for the run in.

Liverpool were actually the better team IMO, which makes this win even better. Too many years have we outplayed teams only to lose, it's nice for the roles to be reversed.
