am I the only one that is happy with the team selection? a sensible move by him we clearly have allot of injuries in midfield but this gives a nice balance with what he has I been really impressed with Gnabry over the last couple of games so happy for him to keep playing.

Not much chance but to do Flam and Areta.

He played Wilshere and Ox at CM last week why not go Flamini - Ox?

Gnabry has had one good game since he's been in the team

I simply can't believe it tbh.

Arteta - Flamini to negative should be Rosicky.

Gnarby or Podolski ........ seriously?? Arsene must not want to score tonight.

There is a definite issue between Lukas and Arsene, been that way for some time.

What are you talking about dude?

Gnabry plays on the right, it was Santi or Poldi and he rightly started Santi because he' a much better player.

Don't be so rigid, you could easily play Podolski on the right or Caz centre with Ozil Right.

Its not like your asking them to play in goal is it.

Caz is right footed so could swing crosses in from the right, Lukas from the left.

No Rosicky on the bench either.... Would've liked this:

Sczeszny
Sagna - Per - Kos - Monreal
Flamini - Ox
Gnabry - Cazorla - Podolski
Giroud

Ozil could use a rest, Podolski could use a start...

Santi on the right makes the most sense

Yeah, against Coventry and they got bypassed too often for my liking and that was against a L1 side.

Southampton haven't become shit. They're suffering from poor form. I don't think I'd trust Ox in a game like this to be defensively disciplined after being out for so long and being so inexperienced.

I do hate Flam-Arteta though, really blunts us.

Is Wenger still putting cotton wool around Podolski.

Why the f**k isn't he starting? Gnabry is still a kid, talented but hes still too raw to be relied upon

Also Arteta Flamini played against Napoli in probably our best performance of the season...

No, I am too.

Cazorla probably could play on the right but has never done so for us so it's a bit of a risk, whilst throwing Chamberlain into the central midfield position probably isn't wise either. I don't think he's played more than 90 minutes since his return from injury and seeing as we're playing at a tough ground I wouldn't deploy him there.

I would have liked to have seen Podolski start but Cazorla is in good form and I don't think we should move him into a position where he's never featured for us just to include Poldi.

Would prefer santi on the right, he's an ambidexter so it doesn't matter which side he plays on and Podolski on the left.

True.

So, basically, let's stop raging and see what happens. Plenty of time to kill ourselves after the game.
