We need Podolski's finishing. We need Giroud to be in those positions to score. If these two can tick, Ozil will find them. We will win.

Srsly though I still cant believe how bad he was last night.

He is the worst striker I've ever seen play for us. Been watching matches since 87.

I was thoroughly disappointed with Bendtner's contribution last night but in his defense, he has been out for three weeks or so and this was his first game back. If he bags a few goals between now and the end of the season I'd be pleasantly surprised but he's not going to offer us something different from what Giroud does.

Bit harsh.

Yes they switched off and coasted in the 2nd half but its Coventry ffs, the players aren't going to burn themselves out and risk injury when we're 2-0 up, that's why we were calling for subs who want to make an impact and are fresh, two goals from two subs kind of proved the point.

The problem is we always switch off even at 1-0 up, hardly ever go for a nice big resounding win and yesterday was a game made for us to do so. So bored of us winning in 1st gear, we have players like Ozil and Cazorla yet we struggled to put more than 2 past Coventry because they 'switched off and coasted' as per usual. You don't get paid all that £££ to coast. 1 really good game since December isn't good enough.

Which is what we were hoping from Walcott but he got injured before he and Ozil could really get going.

Its also why Ozil and Giroud are not that compatible, Ozil needs strikers who can move with the ball to latch on to his through balls, Giroud struggles when needing to be mobile, he feeds more off the crosses coming from Sagna and Gibbs out wide.
