No, his job is to hold it up and lay it off to podolski and co so that they can score - which is what he did!

He didn't lay it off to anyone.

It's clear to anyone who watched last night that Bendtner was poor.

No. I think he did quite well with the passing it's just the 2 shots that gave the impression he was poor.

I just hope that he regains his hunger he showed before his short injury break. I think we was poor yesterday, seemed stiff, didn't seem very sharp and in tune with the play.

To be fair he has just come back from injury and thrown in to start without any match practice.

There is a myth going round that I am somehow oblivious to Giroud's faults because I defend him against what I see as unfair criticism. He has had a few bad games in the past couple of months and I have admitted so when he has. You're talking out of your arse.

Giroud will improve if there is less pressure on him to be the sole goalscorer. With a player like RVP it didn't matter because in 2011/12 he was basically unstoppable so players were better off passing it to him and letting him finish. Giroud isn't even hal the player RVP in his prime was, but having replaced RVP as the lone CF he has been put in that position.

If Podolski starts more games, there will at least be 2 goalscoring forwards in the side. The loss of Walcott has cut a big hole in our attack. Wenger shouldn't depend on the midfield to make up for Theo's goals.
