Unhappy Pod.

Pretty sure Pod will be off in the summer, as will Vermaelen.

I think Park was already glad he made our bench. Tbf we did ruin his career but if he really wanted to leave to get more game time he would have. He's clearly happy just to show up on training and to collect his money at the end of the month.

He's still in his twenties. Still got a few years ahead of him.

I really don't get why we don't use Park. The guy can actually play.

Great first touch, tidy finish. Giroud just needs five more goals to match last season's haul.

He got a bit lucky with the second touch, the way the ball hit his shin, but it was an excellent finish

Going off some of the comments in here, it seems the three points was anything but easy but I'll take them any way they come. After watching brief highlights of the game, Wilshere looked like our best player. Also, Benteke looked like he was a real pain in the arse the whole game. Did not see how Rosicky broke his nose though. Cannot believe the Villa player that did that escaped unpunished. Damn our luck

Anyway, we're back where we belong: Top of the league. That's all that matters

Missed the game :(

Glad we held on. These type of victories count for a lot.

On Podolski, I'm starting to think Podolski to Wenger is what Mata is to Mourinho.

Giroud clearly looks better after being rested. Podolski will surely get more play time. We only have him, Park and Giroud for strikers. Can't say the same for Vermaelen because Mertesacker and Koscielny are not injury prone.
