Giroud, Bendtner and Sanogo are out. We only have Park as a real striker. Even not-so-real strikers like Walcott and Podolski are not 100% fit. Our most reliable non striker goal scorer in Ramsey is injured as well. Ozil, the player with the most assists is also still injured. So, Wenger should -and hopefully would- do something quickly. C'mon, Wenger!

A great win, with a great attitude from the team throughout.

These kind of wins didn't happen in recent seasons as the team did not possess either the self belief or the toughness to keep banging on the door until it broke open.

Theres a huge mental improvement in the team since the Villa game and its really encouraging and exciting to see! i've been very enthused by the performance of the team in both Newcastle and the Cardiff game - 6 points where there might have previoulsy only been 2.

on such performances are serious championship credentials built.

Yes, we still need a striker, but you can't fault the effort of evryone on the pitch at the moment.

Keep going lads and well done to Arsene too for having this mentality fostered through the squad at present.

Last 2 season atleast after 20 of our wins I have heard this nonsense. You would think before this and last season we never won a close game :rofll: Truth is we had a horrible first half and played better in the second and eventually got our goal very late on. Every tight win doesnt mean sign of champions. I mean we conceded against Everton last few mins, what does that mean? People read too much into every win. We are a very good team with clear flaw. That is a reliable goal scorer

Podolski:
79% pass accuracy (10/28 backward passes) today.
35 touches in 63min play time today. -> touch every 108sec

Bendtner:
90% pass accuracy (9/10 backward passes) today.
15 touches in 25min play time today. -> touch every 100sec

Heatmap:

Ratings:
3 - 6 - 2 - 5.5 - 3 - 5.5 - 5.5 - 6 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 6 - 6 - 5 - 5 = 73.5/15 -> 4.90
7.5 - 9 - 9 - 8 - 8 - 8 - 7.5 - 8 - 8.5 - 7.5 - 7 - 9 - 6 - 8 - 8 = 119/15 -> 7.93

Please explain how a player who played nearly similar but scored one goal gets such an awesome rating and the other one such a shitty rating..
If a goal makes a difference of 3points some should rework their older ratings..

#GoonersWorldExcuses
- Their goalkeerper had the game of his life
- We should have had 10+ penalties .. shit ref
- If long term injured player xyz would have been available we would have won easily

Why?

IMO, it's got nothing to do with just the goal. It was to do with the perception of effect during the game.

Bendtner scored when given a chance.

Poldi either passed it sideways, or backwards or shot it into the defender IIRC.

I love Poldi BTW but I thought Bendtner was better than him overall - had more effect, more impact and scored! That's what most people want from the guy playing up front!

Whatever the reason, I can't figure why people should revisit their stats.
