Rubbish! Show me some evidence! They look more pi55ed off at Theo's crappy corners!

Can someone pull the stats for shots taken scored all that stuff for strikers in the prem, im pretty sure Giroud is getting the best service in the league tbh.
His goal return is paltry and thats being nice.

Agree with Massa and Arsenalno1fan completely, you just cannot rest your best player away from home against a quality full strength Newcastle team.
It would be suicide playing some of the teams you lot are suggesting.

You guys are starting to sound like Giroud is a Chamakh or something. He's just in poor form, give him so time. I'm pissed off with his last performances, but he ain't that bad.

ye basically it says Giroud is in top 20 attacking players in the league and I guess everyones being a bit harsh, maybe theres just a lack of firepower overall in the team?

He's not that far ahead of Chamakh to be honest. I'd say their goals to minutes ratio for us would be pretty similar. Starman?

Well, I don't know about their goals to minutes ratio, but I'm pretty sure that Giroud does a hell lot more for the team than Chamakh has ever did.

I dont think there is much between the two once form and confidence is taken out of the equation.

Then your opinion is officially worthless.

I can't put it any other way tbh...

to be honest i kind of agree

i acknowledge giroud isnt as reluctant to shoot but he's hardly more clinical than chamack, he's alot slower than chamakh and chamakh passes the ball more accurately.

Im fairly sure that id giroud looked like chamakh he wouldnt have as much love in here the same goes if he looked like gervinho.

Gervinho especially was a better player for us but because of his hair people despised him.

Face the facts they were similar profile when signed by Arsenal, Chamakh was scoring regularly in the CL the season he joined so if we are going to get technical then im sure that counts for more than all of Girouds ligue 1 miracles.

I actually watched all them goals he scored before he signed for Arsenal, every one, I remember thinking he didnt look that good to be honest...

If they had a top striker like the old Torres or Aguero then one of them would have scored over 20 goals for Arsenal so far.

My main criticism of giroud would be three things. 1. misses too many chances 2. lack of pace 3. slows and breaks down attacks

Ye no1 fan you are right, theres not much in it between them, someone else called it first in fairness.
Dunno if people hated Gerv for his hair, I thought he was shit tbh...
