Lol always have to relate it back to Theo. Can't handle that he's making you look daft ;)

Take a look at Gibbs after his cutback yesterday. Doesn't even put his hands on his head, just walks away slowly; like he's expecting Giroud to miss (like we all are). Wilshere was annoyed throughout the City game too.

Just take a look at his misses (You'll be a while) and look at the player reactions. Simple

Don't blame Giroud, blame Wenger for not having anyone to rotate with him!

We need someone significantly better than him.

Which, as much as I love Giroud, Wenger should have signed in the summer!!!

(Or by 'him' did you mean Arsene? :sneaky: )

What is Ozil supposed to do when our striker is such in poor form? I'm not sure, but I think Ozil has the most key passes in the Premier League. That tells you something. If we had a striker like Suarez or Aguero, Ozil would assist like 2/3 goals per game.

Where was anyone vs Chelsea & Napoli? Ozil wasn't terrible against those teams either. Was decent. Got himself an assist vs City and was our best player vs Everton & Hull

If he was our best player against Everton, why'd you give Kos a higher score in the ratings thread? ;)

Cazorla was good enough through the middle to justify dislodging Özil, Podolski looked sharp enough to demand a start and Walcott not only loves playing Newcastle, but is in a very rich vein of goalscoring form. Depending on whether we drop Giroud or not, Özil might have to settle for being an option off the bench in this match.

Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Gibbs
Flamini - Wilshere
Walcott - Cazorla - Podolski
Giroud

or

Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Vermaelen Gibbs
Flamini - Wilshere
Walcott - Cazorla - Özil
Podolski
Leno
Bellerin Sokratis Holding Tierney
Ceballos - Torriera - Özil
Pépé - - Lacazette - - Auba

lol. I think thats the last thing Ozil will be ever settling for in such a big game at Arse.
Obviously Ozil starts. I think Cazorla should start as well he played great against West Ham.

This is going to be a really tough match for Arsenal.
Im expecting a home win.

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

This but Gnabry for Bendtner. If Giroud's not playing well and we need to take him off we can move Walcott or Podolski upfront. Bendtner would offer us nothing in this kind of game IMO
