What giroud did was hardly special for podolskis goal. Other than podolski no other person in our squad would have scored from there, podolski was wholly responsible for the goal it was hardly layed on a plate for him.

Giroud had the lowest pass accuracy in our squad today (64%) and the most turn overs. If people believe that he has parts of his game that are good i suggest you watch other strikers.

Giroud is too busy these days laying things for people that he has forgotten how to score. He needs to be more selfish and ruthless in front of the goal. At the moment he looks always a yard short of where he needs to be to get to the end of the balls played in to the box.

If i were Giroud, i'd perfect my "Blue Steel" because the whole football thing isn't working out well.

Wenger needs to realise his worth and stop overlooking him so much just because he has a penchant for midfielders.

If Podwas playing cf, he would have been in girouds position.

Its exactly why we need a st and pod should stay where he is

What do you mean mate?

If your playing CF and there is a striker on the pitch your playing behind the ST.

Podolski has stated his favourite position is CF, same position as Bergkamp and RVP after he moved off the wing.

Because we play 4-2-3-1 Podolski play's on the wing, he could sit behind Giroud that's why Caz and Pod used to rotate back last season but Wenger prefer's a CAM there.

Caz was terrific at CAM, needs to be played back there.

Haha. Nah I reckon he does a lot more then he gets credit for. He does a lot of work and makes a lot of intelligent runs. His anticipation and his pace are his only real weaknesses. Most of the top strikers in the world game have had a baren run at some stage. Lewandowski had one up until last week I think... and dortmund still lost.

Ok.....lets be honest here. Giroud despite being a good player is a poor finisher. But he's still far better striker than podolski who wouldnt get even half the chances giroud gets because his movement is nowhere near the same class. I kinda hate Giroud, but even i can see its not coincidence he gets so many good chances. He moves very well and did well fir the 3rd goal. But a strikers job is to score goals and he's not good enough goal scorer

Agree, oddly. If Giroud had Podolski's ability to finish we might not be too worried about getting a new striker.

Arsene Should be thanking his lucky stars that Aarons injury forced him to make a substitution which changed the game.

Keep that team as it is. Giroud is a unless finisher but a willing hod carrier for others. Caz was world class again playing centre mid. Jack will replace Aaron for the newcs or is he still suspended.?

My man pod is just great. Happy days.
