Keen!

Hoping we can get a draw here and show everyone that City aren't all that at home. Strongest team possible, hopefully Sagna is back.

Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Koscielny Monreal
Arteta Ramsey
Walcott Özil Cazorla
Giroud

- May be tempted to play Rosicky over Santi
- Monreal and Sagna yesterday could've made the difference. For me they are better full backs atm

Same team as Massa's except no Santi. He's been dreadful. Would rather have Mr. Dependable in Rosicky because with him there, we won't be d*cked in the middle as we were against Everton and his superb balls will always create chances for our front players.

schezny

Sagna Mertesacker Koscielny Gibbs

Arteta Flamini

Walcott Ramsey Ozil

Giroud

If there was ever a game to play 2 defensive midfielders, its away to the best home team in the league or we will get destroyed like Spurs or Man u

Ramsey has the most tackles in the league and best tackle percentage. He offers more than enough protection when combined with a DM, and is miles ahead of either in attack. Well worth having him in there

Yeah like I said, I'd be tempted. I'd play whoever does the best vs Napoli.

No Ramsey doesnt offer defensive stability because he doesnt sit. Tackling is something he does all over the place. But you cant tackle if you are out of position which he will be against man city. Flamini, Arteta and ramsey should be our midfield

We won't win with Flamini-Arteta

Flamini-Arteta is too flat and dull. Flamini-Arteta is the right pairing for the midweek game against Napoli because we'd want to defend there. Against City, if we play Flamini-Arteta, we'd be impotent while attacking.

Ramsey is more than capable at helping the CDM and he doesn't need to sit as much if Flamini or whomever actually sits in front of the defense.

The tackling Ramsey does up field helps us press them into making bad passes which stifles their game, if we're under the cosh Aaron will sit deeper.

No time for favoritism here, have to play our best in form players, I'm thinking Monreal over Gibbs and Caz can start but whomever is not doing well out of him or Wilshere on the day should be subbed for Walcott if he doesn't start.

Nah I agree with the Flamini - Arteta partnership. Ramsey was out of position lots yesterday and looks too tired to get back all the time. Playing him AMC with Ozil and Theo around him will be enough attacking force without letting the defence get raped. If we look solid enough and not good enough going forward then change Flamini/Arteta at 60 for Cazorla. We're away to the most dangerous team in the league, let's be a bit more tactical.

Just tell Ramsey to sit deeper. Not difficult

You could say that about Wilshere too, doesn't happen though when they're attack minded.
