Yep I cant believe the people here tried to convince themselves Higuain is average and we may as well have Giroud. Guys has 4 goals in 5 games. Same group Giroud has 2 in 6 games

Arsenal Football Club has released the following statement:
"We are aware of the problems our travelling supporters had on Wednesday night and in particular their late arrival at the game. We are very disappointed for our fans that they had a difficult evening but the circumstances were beyond our control. We have launched an investigation to work out precisely what happened."

Anyway the Higuain saga is irelevant because we went for Suarez instead.
Lewandoski however, yes £25m even with 6 months left he's worth it, he's much more complete than Higuain.

The second goal was Jenkinson being caught out of position - clever ball through and a very nice finish over Szec head -

The 1:0 was a great goal from Napoli dunno if you should blame anyone for it.
The only thing I seriously don't understand is why Szec did leave the line.
Before the 2nd goal Jenkinson didn't do much wrong, here I would "blame" Mertesacker and Özil cause both let Higuain unguarded run into position but at least Özil tracked back here once. This is a rarity so maybe he was too unexperienced to deal with the situation

Are you gonna give him 5 million signing on fee as well? You do know the reason why he will be free is a player of his class as a free agent is very rare and he will make crazy money together with his agent. You can offer Dortmund 50 million if you want. Its not up to them. No player at his level will leave a club when he can be free in 6 months

That wasn't the original point.
The thing is that we could win the PL and it would make Ozil's 42 million fee a bargain. The benefits of such an investment is much more than meets the naked eye. If we spend 25 million in January, that would take our net spending to 55 million for the season, if I'm not mistaken. Still less than any other big team around, but with a gigantic PL trophy in our hands.
Money matters but not to the extent that we set targets like getting past the group stages of the CL and finishing in the top-4 every season.

This isn't Fifa Career mode you can't just spend massive amounts of money and face no competition from other teams. Napoli had a crazy amount of money and would have done anything to sign Higuain the price would have ended up around +40m if we'd tried to start a bidding war.
