You can tell we're doing so well when we're whining about stuff like this, haha.

Lol, we're okay most of the time. We haven't been this good for a long time, I think people have forgot how to just be happy.

I haven't been on any forums so far this season. Arsenal mania keeps going down.

We've been good since I stopped on forums. Maybe I should leave haha

Some of us are waiting for the inevitable collapse, we've been here before and aren't willing to get too excited yet.

I'm confident at the moment. I said we'd win 7 or 8 out of the first 10. We won 8. I predicted we'd win it before the season kicked off.

Slightly gutted I didn't put £10 on.

Believe

I believe. Too many false dawns to get too excited for a lot of people.

I believed in 07/08, then Eduardo got assaulted and it all went south

I believed in 10/11, then we lost to Birminham, ran out of defenders and our season collapsed

You can see why i'm not celebrating yet.

Actually, thinking about it, Birmingham f*cked us both times.

We're going to win the league this season, providing we don't draw Birmingham in the FA cup.

The biggest differences between this group and those in 2007/08 and 2010/11 is the mental strength. We joke about it, but Arsene makes a good point - I just cannot see the players we have now collapsing in the same manner that we've seen in the past. Could you imagine Mertesacker or Arteta sitting on the pitch like Gallas did after a gut-wrenching defeat? This current group have responded superbly after each setback this season when we could well have slipped up like everyone expects us to. For years we have asked for a leader, now we have plenty - Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Arteta, Flamini, Koscielny, Wilshere. They all play for the shirt and won't allow us to be bullied.

Agreed.

In particular the ones in bold but you missed out one of if not the main guy ...... Ramsey.

I think its about time we stopped with this inferiority complex, our team has Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla in it amongst others, we are a top team even if we don't win the league, if Chelsea come 3rd are they not a top team? or Utd? we need to realise we've been top 4 forever and all we needed was a boost in the right direction.

That boost was a stronger more determined Wenger, Ramsey becoming phenomenal, Ozil and this new found mental strength.

We are serious contenders.

Easy to say that but there's no guarantee. He still has to hit it with enough power and accuracy to beat the goalkeeper and keep it under the bar. Could easily have fluffed it or mis-kicked it into the keeper's hands.

The player he came on for (Arteta) would most certainly have scored that. He's a much better shooter than Flamini.

had to take the shot on when he did or it would have been intercepted
shame he used too much power to score the goal
there is a limit on how much power he can use
he won,t be able to call on it if needed in future now
arsenal win and it makes some so unhappy
weird

Once again missing the point. Just because he used more power than he needed doesn't mean it was any harder finish.

The more I watch Flamini's goal, the more I apreciate just how good Özil's assist was. Literally a perfectly weighted ball to take 3 defenders out of the game.

Phenomenal performance on Saturday. Cardiff are no mugs yet Arsenal hammered them.

Great to see Cardiff fans appreciating Ramsay and vice versa.

December will reveal how mature this team have become - 6 games - many of them tough fixtures.

December really will be a test of Mental strength.

Keep it going lads.
