I want Gnabry to play, but that's not gonna happen. Maybe give Ozil a rest.

I'd go with:

Szczesny
Sagna Mertesacker Koscielny Gibbs
Arteta(c) Ramsey
Wilshere Özil Cazorla
Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Monreal, Flamini, Rosicky, Gnabry, Walcott
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

We need to be careful of their set pieces. Giroud will play a big role in defending them.

Possibly swap Ozil for Cazorla but essentially this.

Still wouldn't start Walcott, looked decent tonight but still clearly not up to fitness. Wilshere RW, Cazorla left, rest probably the same.

Does Gnabry have the vision and skill to pass like Ozil though?

Szczesny
Sagna-Mertesacker-Koscielny-Monreal
Flamini-Arteta
Wilshere-Cazorla-Ramsey
Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Ozil, Rosicky, Walcott, Gnabry

Walcott on for Arteta around 55' (move Wilshere to CAM, send Ramsey back to CM, move Cazorla to LW)
Rosicky on for Wilshere around 65'
Vermaelen on for Cazorla around 80'

Szczesny
Sagna-Koscielny-Mertesacker-Vermaelen-Monreal
Rosicky-Flamini-Ramsey
Walcott-Giroud

Straightforward 3-1 win.

.....................Giroud...................

Wilshere..........Cazorla..........Walcott

............Ramsey........Arteta............

Monreal.....Kos.......Merts........Sagna

...................Szczesny.......................

Ozil needs a rest mentally more so than physically.

Rosicky's passing and overall play was disappointing against Marseille.

I would want Cazorla to controll the game as the CAM with Wilshere and Walcott alongside him.

Monreal should keep his place after a very good performance against Marseille.
