B Dortmund 0-1 Arsenal | Champions League 06/11/13

Just realized we can have a situation where we, Napoli, and Dortmund finish the group with 12 points each:

Arsenal vs Marseille (Arsenal wins)
Dortmund vs Napoli (Dortmund wins)

Napoli vs Arsenal (Napoli wins)
Marseille vs Dortmund (Dortmund wins)

Arsenal - 12 pts.
Dortmund - 12 pts.
Napoli - 12 pts.
Marseille - 0 pts.

We need to score as many goals as possible against Marseille to avoid losing out on goal difference.

We were top due to goal difference in the head-to-heads. That's how it works in Europe. We were top with 6points despite not having the greater goal difference, it came down to the fact we beat Napoli by 2 goals and had the better goal difference with only goals scored and conceded against the teams on the same points.

We just need to beat Marseille, the score doesn't matter.

Forgot they changed the rules. I believe Chelsea lost out last season because of this rule if I remember correctly.

It seems we're in a better position than I thought

Yes, but Rooney is a fat granny-shagging, potato-shrek looking bastard who insulted us recently, and Mkhitaryan refused to join Liverpool, doesn't play for united, and to my knowledge, doesn't go round nailing pensioners, which gives him brownie points in my book.
