Arsenal 2-0 Liverpool | Premier League 2/11/13

WTF is this nonsense argument about Giroud. Its got nothing to do with if hes good enough. Its got everything to do with having quality rotation in the ST department.

Podolski? Wenger never plays him as a centre forward. Walcott? See Podolski.

Walcott rarely plays up front.

And I ask those who dont seem to think we need another striker...... why dont you want us to be the best we can be and have biggest and best squad possible?

I'd agree with that, but what pisses me off is that Giroud is suddenly poor/ shit/ useless because he's not world class. He's not the best, but he's not anywhere as near as bad as some fans make out.

There isnt a single person on this forum, who has said we dont need another striker.

theyd be champions league contenders with a player like that in the mix. what does that say in regards to girouds ability? your just changing one player in the team.

Even with someone like hernandez arsenal would be a force to be reckoned with.

I completely agree!

I am one of Giroud's biggest fans but would love for us to sign a world class striker in January. My argument is that he's still doing a great job this season and deserves a hell of a lot more credit than he's getting, but I still want another striker.

To be honest, I don't think there are any fans on here who wouldn't want a new striker in January.

I wouldn't say best in Europe. We'd be the best in the league though if we had Aguero, especially with the form he's in.

We are the best in the league.

It says that he's not world class, but he's still highly competent and a good player.

You wouldn't see a jump like that if we changed another single player.

I mean properly the best in the league, not there because Chelsea and Citeh keep making errors.

We can only play what in front of us though.

Chelsea and City havent been as consistent and are therefor not a good,

Chelsea have absolutely no leading strikers, that Club makes Giroud look God like in comparison. You hear from a few we wont win the league with Giroud up top but they shuffling Torres, Eto'o and BA. Looking past the names. Still considered strong contenders yes?

Team is GOD. Balance of ours is outstanding. Every single base covered there isnt an angle we cant exploit.

Our first X! is by far the most complete. An like every good puzzle all the pieces are important.

I honestly don't know why i bother?

Chelsea are contenders because they have a strong squad with a lot of depth, as they showed when they beat us.
