Crystal Palace 0-2 Arsenal | Premier League 26/10/13

This should be a walk through, no excuses here.

But we should play some of our 2nd string choices, I think a lot of our 1st 11 need a rest.

Would like to see Vermalen, Gnarby and Monreal here, maybe Jenkinson as well, keep things fresh.

This is a PL game....i really hope our players dont go in with that kind of mentality. No game in the PL is walk through. You have to turn up and earn the win

That's bloody obvious, but that doesn't mean the fans shouldn't expect us to win comfortably.

Szczesny
Jenkinson Mertesacker Vermaelen Monreal
Arteta Rosicky
Gnabry Ozil Cazorla
Giroud

Get the defenders in, they deserve a chance.
Ramsey`s still played a shit load of games with not much rest, plus Arteta needs more games.
Gnabry was pushing on, it'd be interesting to see his progression after a couple more games.
I'd wanna keep Ozil, Cazorla and Giroud in there as they've only played one game together, if that!

It's a mixture of the starters and those who don't get the minutes, but bar Jenks and Gnabry, it's not a league cup type fringe team. More than good enough to dispose of Palace.

If they get a new manager in by the weekend, i'm fearful of the curse of the new manager, and we'll probably lose. Mentally weak team + genuine curse = bad result.

Come on lads - this is Palace, not Pool!

Whether they get in alex Ferguson for Saturday, teh point remains that their squad is pi**poor, their confidence is lower than ever, and Arsenal are playing good football, with confidence just now.

Anything less than 3 points here is a "villaesque" performance IMO.

No excuses. 3 points.

The players shouldn't have that attitude .......... but I'm not one of the players am I, and as far as the PL goes this "should" be an easy game.

If Wenger doesnt give Monreal and Vermaelen a chance here, then its obvious he has no faith in them

The thing is--many of our fans treat Monreal and Vermaelen as some youth players or players in the category of Chamakh, whereby they consider it a downside when we field them. That couldn't be farther from the truth. These are first team players and it's a testament to the genuine depth in oour squad and the form of Kosc, Per, and Gibbs that they aren't getting as many games as they deserve.

We are playing Liverpool next weekend, followed by Dortmund, then United, and Southampton. Those are four massive games. The game against Palace is the "easiest" of the game we have for the next few weeks; hence, we should rotate here. I won't even mind if Bendtner starts ahead of Giroud, but I want Bendtner to play against Chelsea. I don't want that Chelsea game to be a factor AT ALL. It's the League Cup and more importantly, we can't afford to field our first team against Chelsea in the League Cup and help them prepare themselves fully against us in the League.

Good, so no worry of Pulis teaching them to play like Harlequins.

Anyone see on SSN when Holloway was packing his stuff into the back of his car? One point he had some framed picture and then I noticed he had a stapler in the other hand.... tickled me
