Arsenal 2-0 Napoli | Champions League 01/10/13

Sitting in the North Bank the Ozil finish looked easy from my view, thought he'd just slotted home a tap in.

From the TV camera I realized he made it look easy. That was just as good as Podolski's volley vs Montpellier (I was at that game too at the opposite end :) )

I think the atmosphere has been lacking because we weren't excited by the team.
Now we have something to be excited about the atmosphere has been getting better and better.

You can feel the positive energy

Absolutely, funny I went to a few games last season when we smashed the opposition but it wasn't like this, people were so positive and happy! Napoli fans where, merked! They didn't have a chance, the entire stadium sang for the entire match. Was amazing, if we keep this up, sky is the limit!

North bank were giving it massively lol. Tbf, the whole stadium was rocking. Tonight was quality.

because of where I was sat (west bank, lower tier, nearer to the north bank).

voice went horse after the ozil goal. Where were you?

North Bank, lower tier, left of center row 19. Just love how Napoli started signing, instead of a few people not having, the entire stadium said, f**k off and battered them them the entire game.

Group of regulars behind the goal in the north bank didn't sit down once the entire game, didn't stop singing. Best night at the Emitares in a long time.

WE WON THE LEAGUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

AND SHITE HEART LANEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

WE WON THE LEAGUE AT SHITE HEART LANEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Some favourites from the match:

'We are top of the league, say we are top of the league'

'Who the f***ing hell are you?' (sung at that middle aged bloke in tight jeans, loafers and feathered hair walking along the side of the pitch with a physio lol)

'We are the North bank/West bank Highbury'

All of those were proper loud. At times, it was so loud down our end i couldnt even hear the Clock End..

I was North Bank, block 8. While Napoli did sing for the training and a little during the game, they did very little. I stood all match and sang the majority of the time. It was great to get We're the North Bank/Clock End going again. It was a privilege to be there.

According to Opta, Ozil has provided more assists in the Champions League than any other player in the last three years. He set up Giroud's strike against Napoli and thanked his team-mates for helping him to settle so quickly at Arsenal.

With Flamini in the side, we'll see if Artetas legs are going aswell because he'll have some freedom to go forward.

I have a feeling they will score at-least one goal.

glad your feelings were not hurt mate

1st time we have been 2-0 up so early since wolves away 11/12 when walcott earned a pen and scored in a 3-0 win
1st time we have been 2-0 up so early in the champs league since the 5-2 win at fenerbahce in 08/09 when walcott had added to adebayors goal diaby scored that night and had a fantastic game ramsey came on later and scored his 1st champs league goal
1st time we have been 2-0 up at the emirates since 07/08 when we beat sunderland 3-2
