Good shout. Arteta and Frimmy in the middle then.

Frimps has been very patient, waiting for his chance, not complaining. Even when Coquelin was ahead of him and now Flamini has come in ahead of him, he hasn't moaned, just kept working hard. He deserves a game IMO.

Frimping has been injured/out on loan most of the time so doesn't have any right to moan tbf.
Good shout though and I'd like him to start a game too, he has a point to prove and who knows he might suprise a few people.

Fabianski
Jenkinson Mertesacker Vermaelen Monreal
Frimpong . Arteta
Walcott . . . Ramsey . . . Gnabry
Akbenogo

8 starters of yesterday's game rested and still a decent enough side to beat WBA imo. Just no idea who I would play up front. Bendtner hasn't had a decent run of games for about 18 months whilst Sanogo and Akpom are still very raw.

I'd go with:

Fabianski
Jenkinson Mertesacker Vermaelen Monreal
Frimpong
Arteta Wilshere
Walcott --------------- Gnabry
Bendtner

Subs: Viviano, Koscielny, Gibbs, Flamini, Ramsey, Ozil, Giroud

I would have gone with Akpom ahead of Bendtner but I'm not sure how Akpom would do against the West Brom defense. He's still young and West Brom are a PL side. Bendtner at least has experience on his side and his height should help out a bit :dontknow:
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

Wouldn't start Ozil, Giroud, Ramsey, Wilshere, Koscielny, Gibbs, and Sagna. We have Swansea next and the big CL tie against Napoli. Cannot afford any more injuries.

My team:

Vivano

Jenkisnon per Vermaelen Monreal

Arteta Flamini

Walcott Ramsey Gnabry

Bendtner

Give Ryo and Akpom minutes from the bench if we are winning. Giroud and Ozil in half time if we are losing

Agree with that but ramsey needs a rest big time. He has been playing at full pelt without a break and needs a breather. I would play Eisfeld in the hole. Also i would play Bendtner as clearly has the experience which tilts the balance in his favor. We need to get him match fit cos if anything happens to Giroud we are royally fecked.

Ramsey certainly needs a rest, more than anyone. We need to wrap that guy in cotton wool

If we want to win the COC, then we definitely have to play first teamers. Personally I'd rather us go for the FA Cup next year, but it's AW's choice in the end.

Going all out(playing a lot of first team starters everytime) for the COC could cost us points(fatique) in the league or champions league. I prefer not to. Just play a mix and give some youngsters a chance to shine. Its not that bad if we go out. Other more important thropies are left

This.

Give the youngsters and the likes of Vermaelen, Viviano/Fabz, and Monreal starts, along with Arteta--who could use this as the game to sharpen him.

If we're going out, so be it.

Think he's available but I wouldn't play him. Two big games coming up after WBA
