Don't know why so many people have Kroos in their Top11.
Among others Schweinsteiger was miles ahead of him.

#GoonersWorldExcuses
- Their goalkeerper had the game of his life
- We should have had 10+ penalties .. shit ref
- If long term injured player xyz would have been available we would have won easily

Kroos nearly cost Germany the cup 3 times. Had a terrible final

Bad final for Toni, I agree to that. Great overall tournament, though. Schweini had a good overall tournament, but was the best in the final. still, Kroos did his part to get Germany there.

I think they were pretty even, even though Ruiz did score 1 more. But I'm trying to form a balanced squad (subs included, if you check their positions), and on the position that Campbell played, van Persie, Benzema and Müller were better.

Campbell worked his ass off and had a really good WC, though. Too bad Saborío got injured just before the tournament, so we couldn't afford to give Joel a rest. You could see he was beat in the Netherlands match.

Finally someone throws a bone to the leader of the best defense in the tournament  Giancarlo González was top notch during the whole Cup. As were Díaz, Duarte, Umaña and Gamboa (plus Tejeda and Borges covering them in midfield), but he was the absolute leader and heart of our backline.

Tough but clean tackler, great in the air, great positioning.

Costa Rica left rivals in offside positions 41 times after 5 matches. 21 more than the second team in that statistic (Germany). Pure teamwork and coordination led by González.
