True, no central midfielder have really stood out so far.


Matuidi.. didnt watch against Honduras.. but he was quite good against Switzerland. Got a terrific engine on him. Wish he had not extended with PSG.

besic has been quality, campbell has been the best young player so far

Ghana's Christian Atsu also looked good for me, not as good as Campbell but definitely deserves a mention.

4 costa rica lol - tbf probably have been near enough the best team so far. think chile have been impressive too.

James Rodriguez has been playing CM hasn't he? He's been one of the best players so far.

Yeh, he often ends up on the wing too using his pace. He's a good player and yeah Jordan I like Colombia too :)

James has been amazing. Their RB, Cuadrado, has been spectacular as well.

Chile has been really good, too. Sanchez and Valdivia probably deserve mentions.
