Ok, my unbiased predictions are:

France 1-2 Germany: Yeah, France has looked better, but the German efficiency will finally shine through

Brazil 2-3 Colombia:
Colombia has been a better team, and will be better once again. This one will be a match for the ages.

Belgium 1-2 Argentina:
Messi and Di María will awkwardly drag this Argentina side once more. Be careful, they have the luck of champions.

Netherlands 2-0 Costa Rica:
CR will give them a match, but Robben and co. will finally breakthrough.

Biased version:

Netherlands 1-2 Costa Rica:
Costa Rica pulls ahead early thanks to a setpiece, and strikes once more in the second half with few minutes to go on a counter. Netherlands manage to get one near the end, but it is too late. COSTA RICA WINS, KEYLOR NAVAS IS CANONIZED BY THE POPE, AND MY COUNTRY IMPLODES AND SEIZES TO EXIST. We all get to die happy, so don't worry about us, guys.

All Die happy after a quarter final meaning you can't play the semi so England are called up seeing as they were the only team you haven't beaten to take their place and go on to win the World Cup.

Oh no, it's only the actual country that implodes and where everybody dies. The team will be fine, right there in Brazil. Then they win the Cup to honor our memories.

The good thing is, after the Mexico game and all the buzz around his diving, referee will not fall into that as easily :sneaky2: might even let go some authentic fouls.

Germany v Brazil
Holland v Belgium

Semi prediction.

You want the hosts to go on as long as possible. Germany were my tips from the start. Holland should beat Costa Rica and win all due respect I hope they do and Belgium cos I don't like Argentina.

This has been a really good and offensive minded WC.

The two in particular ......

Brazil vs Columbia

and

France vs Germany

Wow talk about rival neighboring countries, the Brazil / Columbia game in particular will be dynamite over that side of the world.

Hate to disagree but Robben has been a serial diver his whole career. Everyone and their mother knows that. It won't change anything and the refs will call these phantom fouls per usual.

He has been, that is true. But I doubt he has been on the spot as strongly as these last couple of days. His "confession" actually just made it worse, as he only confessed on the dive that did not end up being a PK.

Refereeing has been the only sour spot in this WC, and FIFA will be paying more attention to it. I wouldn't find it strange if the referee is more reluctant to award him with fouls during the match.

Then again, I wouldn't find it strange either if we were to be kicked out by a Pk after another one of his antics.
