Hodgson slaughtered for drawing 0-0 vs Costa Rica and Van Gaal is lauded as a genius for doing the same thing. God, United fans are thick.

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Congrats CR Gooner, you probably don't want to here how proud you should be, losing a peno shootout kills any supporter

Whats the Beef with Krul, was completely in the opposition head, loved it.

It was unsportsmanlike.

What next? Goalies dry humping the approaching striker before he takes his pen?

Fk takers doing elaborate mating dances before the ref gives a nod?

Goalie urinates on all 4 corners of the penalty area and goal line to mark his territory?

Get on your fecking line Krull!

Nah, its banter.

Best way to silence the keeper is score.

What, he should just stand there and make life as comfortable as possible for the penalty taker, get him nervous, make him doubt himself.

Best penalty savers iv seen wiggle on the line, place the ball for the taker, throw out a few words its a test of mental strength. Penalties arent about luck and if you can get into the head of your opponent, you've done well son.

CR should've gotten at least 1 penalty.

Tbf, much higher stakes. Then again, some on here were highly critical of our semi win v wigan after they dealt with man city a fixture before.

United fans loving it:

Didn't even celebrate after the win, like its normal and expected and wondering why everyone around was so ecstatic.

Thread title needs to be changed to Louis van GOAT.

I'm going to be disappointed if we don't win the league and both cups now.

Seriously, the man is brilliant.

Still can not believe it, this man is our manager . Can someone change my username to Van Baal please :(?

This is Louis Van Gaal's world. We're all just living in it.

Got a bit RAWKish at the end.

People are celebrating here. Not as if we had won, but celebrating all the same.

I've seen no one cry. What was done was way beyond expectations.

The team will be greeted back like the great heroes they are.

I think at the end they might just have been the most supported team in the world. Everyone loves a good underdog story.

I have a feeling that if CR had made the Semis, scriptwriters in Hollywood would have been scrambling to get a movie out next year.

The best story of WC 2014 so far.

I can't recall a keeper giving the verbals to a penalty taker ever before . Grobelaar did his wobbly legs routine . But has a keeper approached a taker and shit talked before ? Got to wonder if that was Van Gaul's brief beforehand ?
