Best show in years! Its a series on the life of legendary drug lord Pablo Escobar.....the wealthiest criminal off all time...who at his peak had a net worth of $25 Billion!
It has gotten rave reviews by all entertaiment critics....
Season 1 ended a few days back...show has been renewed for a new season.
Must watch!

I hate loving shows like this.
One one hand its fantastic television from top to bottom, genuinely great show.
On the other hand it also appeals to the lowest common denominator because of its subject matter.
But I suppose this can be said of anything that involves drugs, women,violence,and lots of money.

This is all i've read about on twitter over the last couple of weeks so i'm going to start it this week also. Have't seen a single bad review about it yet so i'm hoping for good things!

Great TV - I love how they kept the Columbian parts in Spanish with subtitles adds to it for me - others dislike that but I think it adds to it - the only negative is the casting of the American Cop on secondment - is a bit weak for me as a character - on Episode 7 myself.

Watched the first episode. Not bad. Hoping there's more English in the other episodes. Haven't read the thread so no idea if it's been mentioned but not enough in English. Don't usually mind as I have subtitles on regardless of the language but at least wi English, I don't have to watch the screen all the time and can come in here
