Style, Brands, Shoes, Kits

Postby D Rose AFC » Wed Jul 16, 2014 8:50 pm

I decided to open a thread on everything regarding style in football, because lately people spoke about how the shoes have developed in time.

How does everybody like the new wave of colour?

I don't really like that pink and yellow flash of Nike nor do I like the strange black and white patterns of Adidas. For all the Black lovers under you Adidas and Nike will have something in store in near future.

Personally I will definitely go for these boys

Also this page offers lots of material for discussion I suppose.

So Let's hate on some Kits and designs.

Feel free to state your opinion on everything regarding this topic

Did chuckle to myself when I put in the kit thread about customising my boots and how brands are bringing out these mad colours then Nike dropped their stealth package the next day.

Definitely going to get the vapors for the new season.

Black boots are boring.
Fatal Descent
Spinning around
I've gone too far
To turn back round

Desperate attempt
Stop the progression
At any length
Lift this obsession

I seriously were on the brink of buying the Puma Arsenal boots, although I can't stand their different coloured shoes, but I didn't expect something decent from Nike or Adidas a week ago. Thank god they didn't have my size in the Puma store, so I couldn't preorder the Arsenal Edition.

Loved them but they don't fit anymore :) (whyever)

Remember when wearing white boots meant you were GOAT in the top leagues?

Haha I'm only 20 right now, so I grew up with the metallic vapor shoes from Nike - blue, silver, gold. I always liked them, but never would have dared to wear those as a former right back (3 defenders)

Still I was wearing white and red Lotto shoes since my idol was Totti (who has been wearing Lotto shoes forever, black ones though haha)

anyways growing older and being confronted with the current stuff I really appreciate the opportunity to be able to get some black shoes - or atleast not all out flashy pink, green, yellow or orange ones.

Went to our Nike 'Flagship Store' in Berlin today, wanted to buy new shoes for the season since mine are done.
Wanted to buy the pair i posted above, well doesn't exist anywhere but this page, so I wanted to try on all 3 pairs of the Stealth Pack II.

Well f**k you, we don't have your size because your size (Euro 46,5) doesn't exist (anymore) as it seems.

I tried on Euro 46 -> too small, Euro 47 -> too big.

Great.

I'm not a fan of the wild colors that Nike and Adidas are making, and I really dislike the different colored Puma shoes.

Hopefully by the time I need a new pair they'll have something a bit tamer.

mate try having a size 16 foot and getting shoes anywhere at least you can get yours from places.

My options for shoes are miserable, the last pair i got i had to get in 3 different colours ffs.
I think i'm a european size 52

getting football boots is the worst as a footballer. I literally destroy my feet everytime i play because they're too small

They're beautiful. It's interesting how plain black boots are coming back into fashion - I wore some colour when I was a kid but for years I've been going for the old school ones.

I only play fives nowadays but if I was still playing Sunday league and had a bit of cash on me I'd go for those.
