Same here. Two of my best mates run a car club and are organising a cruise in respect of him.

it's sad. i'd say a lot of people over the past 12 years got into cars because of F&F.

I was living down in LA when the first movie came out and while the scene was already big down there, it really exploded after the first movie.

What shocked me was when I was in London back in like 2008 and my mate Ed took me to Ace Cafe and there were loads and loads of imports and muscle cars all meeting up to go racing. We ended up stopping at some giant roundabout tunnel and just took it over with people doing burnouts, drifting etc. was pretty insane.

Here's some pics I took while I was there. I wanna say it was near Wembley/Canary Wharf...

I was never really a FF fan, but I know my girlfriend thought he was smoking hot, so I guess less competition now! :hiding:

Seriously though, sad news and RIP fella!

Fast & Furious star Paul Walker died from the "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries," a coroner has revealed.

I was hoping this wouldnt be the case, this comment says what I thought too.

it truly breaks my heart to find out that Paul was burned to death. He could of survived if the car did not burst into flames. its the worst way to ever die. He was a good good man with a huge heart and he did everything he could to help those in need, he did not deserve a death like this. He is definently driving up there in heaven. Rest in Peace.

yeah that's a rough way to go. it's too bad the engine didn't separate completely from the rest of the car. i know ferrari's and lamborghini's are built so that if you get in an accident like that the rear portion where the engine is located breaks away from the cockpit to ensure what happened to Paul and Roger doesn't happen.

I don't like The Fast and the Furious, but Running Scared is one hell of a thriller. Must look for the DVD now. RIP Mr. Walker.
