RIP Sir Jimmy Saville

Postby djaxster » Sat Oct 29, 2011 5:09 pm

A true radio and TV legend passed away aged 84.
I will always remember eating Sunday roast with him on the radio playing songs from the past and me mum and dad going "Aah, Do you remember this one" and also loved Jim'll Fixit.
All the marathon's he run and the money he raused for charity.

Sir Jim, you'll be missed.
:Peace:

Dear Jim

I wrote to you once when I was a kid. I asked if you could fix it for me to meet Freddie Murcury. Sadly you never did and I never did meet Freddie, but anyway Rest In Peace and all that, you mad f***er!

Too soon to make a Jim can't fix it joke?

In all serious though I always wanted a Jim'll fix it medal when I was growing up.

RIP to a cigar smoking tv legend.

Didn't know that the rap world are mourning Jimmy.
He was the first DJ to use 2 decks and continous mixing and was the fashion person for early hip-hoppers, Track suits, trainers bling and smoking a fat one.
