Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Yeah, the point I was making with my other post though is I never used the TRUE LMG's before. The MG4 and LSW types. Kinda nice not having to reload hardly ever. Just need to be mindful of burst shooting and not trying to spray.

I get headshots at a crazy rate with the LSW too... not sure why. Even better than with the ARs. About 1 in 6 or 7 with the LSW where I'm closer to 1 in 9 with the ARs.

I don't really think there is any difference but I've always liked the Barret over the Intervention. You want to talk about a headshot rate... lol, like 1 in 3 with that sucka!
This space used to be more fun...

I'm hearing March 30th for the new map pack, and the word is that they are remaking a few of the old maps from the first Modern Warfare, and that it comes to Xbox first, then to PS3 a month later. That's shit!!

Brings back memories of COD4

I've moved on to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The single player wasn't great but the online is amazing.

I just saw a commercial for Battlefield this morning and it look pretty good. I might have to check that out. Is the online play similar to COD where you can play different types of games and such?

Nah not really. Did you ever play the old Battlefield games on PC?

There's 2 main modes, Conquest and Rush. Conquest is essentially the same as Domination in COD but on a much bigger scale. Rush is hard to explain, you have attackers and defenders and there's COM stations to destroy/protect. There's also squad Rush which is 4v4 and squad TDM, which is 4v4v4v4, really intense! All modes have hardcore versions too. Hardcore is great in this.

Whereas COD is a lone wolf type game, BF is all about teamwork. There's 4 classes for the different roles; Recon, Medic, Engineer and Assault.

I've never played Battlefield at all. Is it a FPS? And are is easy to go to that (control wise) from COD? Meaning are the controls similar?

Yeah it's an FPS. The controls are pretty much the same as other games like COD and are easy to learn. Actually I'd say they are the best controls on a console so far. Your gun feels weighty like in Killzone 2, but you still have really precise movements, like COD.

Only had COD back online for the last month or so.... god i'd missed it.

Like you Leody, I favour the old LMG's, unload a big burst, wait for the little scamps to jump out..... then BANG - hit the f***ers and rip them to pieces with bullets of rage and fury!

As much as I hate them, i've also put the grenade launcher on my M1A4 and SCAR. I was getting f***ked off by the twats who use them constantly..... so thought, what better way to counter it than getting even?

They are, but when those f***ers that use them all the time keep killing you with them, you sometimes just have to fight gayness with more gayness. :)
