Thanks guys.

I did a couple of quick offline seasons, and made enough to buy a silver pack and a gold pack. Also got Cazorla for 900 on the transfer market. Got Mata in my gold pack, so teams not too shabby right now.

Play an online season with coin boosts and you should have like 15k by the end to make a cheap team with

Don't buy packs. Honestly. They're the biggest rip offs going.

If you want to make coins, just keeping playing matches and slowly improve your team. Price ranges means even some quality players go for cheap - for example, Benzema is easily one of the best strikers I've used in this game and he won't cost you more than 10k. You won't be able to get Messi, Ronaldo or the best TOTS/ IF but you will be able to get a decent little team going before long.

Just don't waste your coins on packs.

10 games, if you play the boost that's 1.4k a game plus whatever the prize is for winning the title (few k)

Key is getting a team with 100 chem, more important than sick players

So pardon my ignorance then, if you don't buy packs how do you get players? Through the transfer market? Is that the only way to get them, is to find a good bargain? And is that were you also buy your consumables? Most notably player contracts?

Yes, through the market.

Unless you're extremely lucky and draw a high value player don't buy packs. You'll almost never get value worth the amount you pay.

Only exceptions are Bronze packs as these are only 400 coins. Contracts alone go for 150/200 so there's a good chance you'll make a profit on those.

Don't waste your time with UT full stop.

The scripting and crappy servers ruin the experience. Just do online seasons.

Huh? Online seasons has scripting and crap servers as well. Only difference is that FUT gameplay is slightly more arcadish and has more bug exploiting kiddies.

Btw, nobody here playing on PC?

I'm not a huge fan of online play, I really only just create a pro and play a career with him, and I've done that to death a couple of times now, so was just looking for something new until the new game comes out soon!

Just played Ultimate Team and I got signed out of the EA servers whilst I was winning the final of the Champions Shield. I was the one that ended up getting the loss.

I'm finished with this game.
