Carlos here... a Yank by your standards.

Only started paying attention to futbol in 98 during the WC.

Became an Arsenal supporter cos i Liked the kit (O2) and the fact that a black french dude was their dagger,

That was when i was dating a mexican gal... in 2001...so... then i traveled and liked Lazio, Marseilles and Barcelona cos i Was in those cities.

so i follow, but detailed formation questions and details about the transfer laws baffle me,

I watched all the Yank sorts and played them as a kid... baseball, football, basketball and hockey. Have my teams and am not a band wagon guy.
I have had all my teams since i first started following them... with mostly shite results.

When it was Arr v Barc in the UCL final , I didnt know who i wanted to win.
