Postby Ospina » Sun Jan 18, 2015 8:16 pm

Hey up guys and gals, new gooner here was a Leeds supporter up until today thought you (now we) were magnificent and I have decided to become an Arsenal fan absolutely sick of the shit at Leeds and this Cellino is an absolute clown, think Arsenal are a really well run club who spend when they need to so from now on I will be following you guys! Loved my London away days as a Leeds supporter so going to really enjoy coming down for my London home days now.

It bewilders me how people can just support a club without any parental influence, let alone change club. But welcome

How does it come about? My parents used to be home & away Arsenal so I had no choice in the matter

So it bewilders you that people who don't come from football families choose to support a football club?

This is not some f'ed up country where parents overrule their children.

The only proven winner in red and white at this club? Arsene Wenger. Sack the board.

No I just don't get what makes people choose Arsenal for example, it's foreign to me

Arsenal or liverpool for me cos they were the 2 best at the time. They faced each other. Decided to support whoever won. Arsenal won 3-0. The rest is history.

I'm not having a go or anything I just find that weird, I couldn't imagine supporting Arsenal without having it ingrained in me from a young age or not having any links to the city/North London. God forbid my parents weren't into football, I probably would've supported my local team/nearest Prem team which is f***ing Orient & Spurs. Fortunately for me it wasn't the case
