Hi... a chilean in the forum...

Hi! Well, I'm chileand and I'm really REALLY happy with Alexis Sánchez as a new player on a great team as Arsenal.

After three years on Barcelona, playing in a system clearly didn't fit to his atributes, I'm very pleased he can be free again, just like in our national squad, with a top class coach as Arsene Wenger.

I'm a Cobreloa's fan, the club where Alexis started his career (just like Charles Aranguiz and Eduardo Vargas, two of the top players of "La Roja").

And I'm a preety big fan of the Premier League and Arsenal in particular, because I like how the team plays: always respecting the game.

In fact, I'm big fan of videogames and always use Arsenal on PES... and my favorite player always was Arshavin... too shame he didn't play that much recently... I'd love to see him with Alexis on a same team.

Any question you have about Alexis, his skills or what he must improve, I can help with.

:)

Welcome!

How do you think he'll cope with the lone striker role?

I think he could be a lone striker... in Barcelona he was a "false 9" many times and last year he scored 19 times...

BUT I think his best position in the field would be in a three front row, with him as a wing, Walcott as the other and Giroud as a typical "9".

Or maybe in some games playing only with Walcott and exploiting Ozil's passes...

Anyway, he can play on every position just as he did on Barcelona and that give very flexibility and alternatives to the team.

Seeing the squad, I think there are other priorities by now: a goalkeeper, a defender and a midfielder... I think Arsenal has a lot of potential on its attack.

(Excuse my english)

Thank you!

I think he'll be brilliant as the lone striker. I can see him and Ozil linking up in the same way that Fabregas and Van Persie did.

I reckon it'll take him a season to adapt to the lone striker position and to the new league and so I'm willing to give him time!

That team on your signature looks pretty awesome...

I hope Wenger could sign Khedira.

And too bad there isn't enough money for buying Arturo Vidal... he would be a star on Arsenal.

I don't think Alexis will play up front tbh. Giroud is the perfect striker to have inbetween him and Theo.
