New memeber for canda and going to my 1st ever game with ??

Postby tkcoffey » Thu Mar 20, 2014 12:05 am

Hi everyone
Been cheering on Arsenal since the mid 80's from over here in Canada. IM going to my 1st ever EPL and Arsenal game on Apr 28 and im so pumped to finally getting to see them live.
Since I have never been to England and a game , I have a few questions :
Who wants to meet up for a beer :1970_two_smileys_drinking_beer_together.gif: haha
but now the serious questions .
where should I go pre game
how early should I arrive to the stadium
what not to do at a game

thanks in advance for any advice given

Welcome

What you do pre-game is up to you since there are several pubs around the ground that you can drink at (don't buy drinks in the ground £4.50 for a pint at Ashburton!) The turnstiles open about 1-2 hours before a game but preferably you want to get there about an hour before the game so you can see the teams warming up. The one thing you should definitely NOT do at a game is remain silent.
