Hello everyone, I've been reading this site for a while and thought I'd join so I could debate things with you all and add my two cents!

I'm actually from Manchester in the UK, and just recently moved to New York for 6 months, but have supported Arsenal since I remember, my first kit being the 1994-96 offerings (I still love the hooped socks and think I might buy this years away socks just for that fact)

Anyway, I've been going to the Blind Pig here in NYC and strangely, being away from the UK has made me closer to Arsenal? I feel more of a fan now more than ever? Unfortunately I've never been able to go to many games but the ones I have gone to have been memorable... Winning the title at Old Trafford in 2002 (Sitting in the United end )

But anyway, I'm excited to get posting and sharing the emotions of being a Gooner with you all!

Thankfully I could hold my own with United fans until 2007 or so... A couple of years without a trophy isn't too bad, then City come along so the City and United fans just bicker between them and generally felt sorry for me since then I think? Now the time we're most competitive since 2007 I'm in a country where I can only banter through text or FaceTime... Not quite the same though

Well we were in the corner right opposite the tunnel (North East) and the Arsenal fans were in the North West and once the final whistle went, me and my paps sort of sat with our head in our hands like we couldn't believe we'd lost the title, then once it was empty we ran along the bottom to the other corner with the Arsenal fans... The stewards HATED us!

That was a lot better than going to Anfield and standing in the Kop after claiming the 97/98 title... Luckily I was 8 so a bit too young for a Scouser too get aggressive with me (I think)
