Hello from a Yank Gooner

Well first off I am a yank...now that is out of the way I guess I will introduce myself. I haven't always been a huge fan of The Arsenal until around 2008. The reason for this though is due to shite tv coverage. In 2008 I traveled to London to play in a tournament with my high school team. We did the usual tourist sightseeing and visited the Dog track known as Stamford Bridge (wasn't really impressed). Then we made our way to North London and visited that god awful White Hart Lane place. Finally we made our way to the newly built Emirates!! When we arrived there was just something special about that place to me. It also helped that I had followed Henry as much as I could across the pond back in the states and my favorite player was/is Fabregas. We got the full tour of the Temple of Emirates Stadium and it made me fall in love with the place even more. Later that day it was actually the big 4 playing (what used to be). We went to a local pub around the Emirates to watch them play and drink a few pints. We were away to Liverpool at Anfield and I remember Arshavin destroying pool with 4 goals. The game ended in a 4-4 draw but everything from the game to the atmosphere of the pub made me that much more into The Gunners. To sum this long arse story up I am now a diehard fan that visits once a year for a game and my dog is named after my beloved Gunners!! Hopefully one day in the very near future i can celebrate winning a trophy!!

Just went with Wenger.......but really all jokes aside his name is Gunner and wears a Arsenal collar and bandana proudly!!
