Spouts a lot of crap but the he learnt so much at Man Utd at the age of 29 about how to react after losing is a swipe at us.

This really was an amazing performance. I wasn't sure about Arteta, but this week, he's showing some special management talent.

I sense a video replay of Baku for a motivation talk from Arteta

Sometimes the truth hurts.
He won the title as soon as he left us.

Lost any respect I had for van Persie when he came out and said "Arsenal never offered me a contract", as if we didn't want to keep our captain and leading goalscorer back in 2012. We may never have offered him a contract because we knew he didn't want to sign and/ or made ridiculous demands, but either way he's trying to rewrite history to curry favour with Arsenal fans.

He's a snake and should just own it.

Guys for real though how were we? Did we fluke it like against Liverpool it was it more earned? Missed the game but bet of city to help us. Did we deserve it this time?

No, wasn't a fluke. We had little possession but made it count and probably had more clear cut chances than City did, who had only a single shot on target. Could easily have lost on another day but this was more a case of Arteta's gameplan working perfectly to exploit City's vulnerabilities, rather than relying on gifts from the opposition defence like we did against Liverpool.

Probably the most professional and well executed game of Arteta's reign. Certainly the best result. The entire team played really well, from back to front.

City spent most of the game shooting from distance and whipping crosses onto Luiz and Mustafi's heads.

So happy. Had to rely on TalkSPORT which was probably a blessing as if I'd been watching the passing that led to the first goal, I'd have probably expired before Auba scored. Very pleased for the manager and the team and incredibly proud as well. It would be nice to start the new decade with a trophy and would rather it were Chelsea in the final. Don't know about any of Van Persie's comments but he's just an equine see-you-next-Tuesday who is too proud to use Just For Men.

Only a fortnight to the final, so do we rest key players now?
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

Think back to pretty much any game in the Wenger horror years 08-18 where we dominated a game and still lost to counter attack football and a good defence.

Man City were us. We were the counter attacking side
