Putting aside that mess of a performance, the defence at least deserves some credit. I saw players throwing their bodies into blocks... and were pretty well organised.

It was Stoke like, but probably the type of game we need to play given the lack of talent in the squad.

Yes, it reminded me of when we used to lose to Stoke a fair bit.

WHERES YOUR 100 POINTS, WHERES YOUR 100 POINTS :rofll:

knew we'd always end their unbeaten streak if they got this far anyway ;)

You say lucky but we just did to them what Spurs did to us, allowed them to have most of the possession and they fked up when we applied pressure up front.

Spurs did the exact same thing to us so I'll take it.

It did not just go Liverpool’s way. On a typical day they would have spanked us by a normal 3-0 to 5-0 score line.
Lets not delude ourself that it’s our tactics that worked. They gifted us 2 goals, we only had 3 shots all game and only 2 on target.

We are so bad. If we don’t clearout in the summer then then we will be exactly where we are right now or even worse next season.
I was absolutely not convinced by the way we looked like a championship team all game.

Brilliant interview. I love what he said and that gives me more confident. He was very bold in what he said and I hope the club at least back him with some money!

No sh*t.

Yet you could say that about anytime a lesser team beats a better team, everyone here has said Pool are a better team, we're not saying Arsenal is now superior so your post is irrelevant.

What are AFC supposed to do bow down and just lose?

Smh lol , I am glad to see some at least giving the guys a little credit

Liverpool were not sharp but in the 2nd half they surely did try and our guys dug in , were hardly carved open and Emi didn't have to make any wonder saves
It is ok to acknowledge our short comings but still be glad we managed a win, A win doesn't only have to be free flowing football to be celebrated cuz we all know on here that we are not that club at the moment

the save on the deflected TAA sgot at the end was as good a save as Leno has ever made....

good D structure in 2nd half... sure we go tyhe luck today, no doubt they are better... its whty they have 40 more pts ffs....

but we did not crumble and captitulate... that was good to see... cohesion and collective effort and desire...

and we shoulda won by 2 if willock puts away a sitter
