Holding and Emi were both good today. You love to see it.

Good score line - but two goals directly from their cock ups. Wld be nice to create a few chances from fluid football

We don't want to make it a habit to where our keeper and CB's are our MOTM's though. That's usually not a good sign of our overall play.

Saka was the best out of the midfield and front

Ceballos is pointless. Xhaka was Xhaka without any major cock ups this time. Auba, Eddie had bright sparks. Pepe was quiet.

Rather meh game where we were helped out by two defensive howlers, and a better midfield will go a long way.

But 3 points is 3 points.

On the bench and then on a plane would be better

Seriously Jay, you need to get over this. You come out with great stuff but the hate on Auba just ruins it all. He's clearly our most effective forward and has scored goals for us.

You dislike Auba and have a soft spot for Ozil. Despite one being clearly more effective than the other whilst the other is a more talented footballer. What do Arsenal need right now? Effective.

I would agree that Auba wastes chances, as would most sane fans. But he gets there so often he makes it a positive trade off

I don't hate Auba.
I think he wastes too many chances and as a team player is pretty sub-par.
Most of all I don't like his character. He's the kind of player who is proven to go on strike when he doesn't get what he wants - he's like Gallas in that respect. Sure, he smiles on the pitch, but scratch the surface and you can see what he is.
Right now he is holding the club to ransom.
We've had much better strikers than him in the past and we will again.

Ozil? I don't have a soft spot for him (or any other player_. I've said many times that I see every one of them as a number and a commodity. That's it. If any player never played again for us, I wouldn't care. I just use my eyes when watching games, we look far better with Ozil in the team. Everything just flows more easily in midfield and down the flanks.
It's ironic because Ozil is often accused of not being a team player, but he is one of the best examples of a team player whilst Auba is a prime example of the opposite of a team player.

It is what it is - we are all more likely to call out new examples of the obvious faults we see in a player when they keep happening.
Today was a stinker for Auba.

The 'better off on a plane' - i.e. leaving - comment is not solely about Auba, but about our finances. We needed to get rid of him last year and we'd have picked up £50m plus for him.
Now we will be lucky to get £25m and will probably get nothing.

Really glad to have been talking bollocks pre match. Shows how far we've fallen when I'm delighted with 3 points away to Southampton. Lots of criticism for I'llbang yermam. Was he really that bad/wasteful? (Didn't see match so genuine question)
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

Great performance by nketiah I want to know why martinelli is not playing I think laca will be off and finds used to secure a defender . If we can get partey and rb with upemacano it will be decent i want to see a front 3 of saka auba pepe next season martinelli nketiah reiss are sufficient backup

No

He missed one chance when he hit the bar. That's it.

He got their guy sent off and we got the goal from the free kick.

Not the best performance but he was involved. Needs to be in the centre though.

He's being wasted playing at LW. In the current setup he's not drifting inside like he normally would. In the 2nd half it looked like he was under instructions to try to get the ball to Eddie in the centre rather than take the shot on his own.

I think Saka and Willock will play an important role going forward. Since Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla and to a lesser extend Iwobi left, we have not had creative midfielders who can chip in with goals. These two young guys have that in them and I think will be vital in making us more creative and dangerous through the center.

Nope - missed a sitter early on.
Missed another when clean through in the second half.
Missed an easy chance to square the ball to an opponent for an open goal.
Most of all his entire game was sh*t yesterday.
