Luiz, Torreira and Auba were outstanding tonight. Laca made some good moves but he can’t buy a bloody goal just now. Pepe was superb but seemed to lose composure in the second half!

Sokratis actually played really well too

By the sound of it he was pissing everyone off and forcing tactics that the players neither wanted nor even understood.

Didn't Emery beat a far better United last season with a Wenger squad?

Anyway good win. Didn't watch it or seen the goals. Unlikely to be home before motd.

On we go

Was really enjoying Arteta celebrating with the players and everyone smiling after the game.

Just watched the game on a bit of a delay.

Excellent first half - really impressed with the work rate and organisation combined with some fast fluid football.
Ozil a magician and Kolasinac excellent.
Second half we dropped off the pace and at times I thought we might blow it again, but we defended pretty well. The back 4 were good (except AMN who showed again he's no ready for this level).
Reese Nelson also has a lot to learn - like a little boy lost when he came on.
But even though we faltered in the second half, so pleased with the honesty after the game...a full admission that the team is not fit enough, which really means has not been professional. That's a huge black mark on Emery's managerial career - not even getting the basics of fitness training correct.

Great result
Ozil, Torriera, Kolasinac were superb.

Imagine not even being able to get the fitness right, emery was a complete horror show.

Think that’s partly down to the players as well, they gave up under him so of course won’t be in prime shape when someone comes in with a proper pressing and high energy game.

But we didn;t play a pressing game under Emery so the players probably never even knew they weren't doing enough physically.

Oh, couldn;t let the referee go unmentioned.
What a prat he was.
He took an 11th commandment before the game - "Thou shalt not book Man Utd players".

Basic passing , movement & nice old triangles. How we missed those things. Just going back to basic arsenal play will get us back to normal level.Emery was a shit show. The man played basic football & played in straight lines. No creativity. No plan of attack. He's not top draw coach because of that. He belongs with teams with limited resources ,limited ability.Thats his level.Thats where his style works.

We seem to always beat united when we are desperate. Just seeing us pass it around was a good watch. No one struggling to pass it out from the back. Everyone getting into right position. You can see how quickly the guys are adapting to arteta's orders. Simply because it is far closer to what Arsenal had been doing decades ago.

Now that the passing is back in order.Waiting to see Arteta elevate the other parts of our game. The on & off the ball shape work. Fitness will get there so not worried.

But man how good was it to not see the back line shaky on the ball. Good to see the passing back. And look at toreirra in his natural position not bombing forward.Simple orders.

He did but people have their agendas against Emery as if he was epitomy of evil.

Emery also beat a stronger United team with Pogba compared to today's pitiful depleted shower of shite.

Way, way, way too early. We ain't out of the woods yet, lets just enjoy the win and take one game at a time.
